Cold Weather Warning: Warming Centers

The forecast shows there will be overnight temperatures in the low 30s in the Sacramento area. These temperatures will be especially dangerous for our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Listed below are the locations and bus stop information for each center.

Open Friday and Saturday nights from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. at the following locations:

  • City Hall Lobby, 915 I Street (Pets accommodated) (Bus Stop: 1065)

  • Hagginwood Community Center, 3271 Marysville Boulevard (Pets Accommodated) (Bus Stop: 584)

  • Capitol City Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 6701 Lemon Hill Ave. (Bus Stop: 3135, 1609)

Open Saturday and Sunday night from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.

  • Creekside Adult School, located at 2641 Kent Drive, (Pets Accommodated) (Bus Stop: 1460-1383

Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 pm to 7 am.

  • County Department of Human Assistance, 1725 28th Street (This site will also be added to the RT transportation route for those who cannot walk up. Leashed pets are welcome; the facility will also have kennels available.) (Bus Stop: 9811)
